How can I protect myself from being scammed?

• Don’t part with your money so easily.

• If it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

• Never provide your credit card details and other personal information to someone you do not know or trust.

• Do not post your holiday details on social media.

• Search the legitimacy of company, complaints against the company or the contact details online.

• If you detect fraudulent deductions from your account, call your bank to verify what the transaction was for.

• Keep your cash and bank cards with your or in a safe place.
